Pumpkin spice is back, which signifies the honorary start of fall for many — even though the season doesn't technically start until Sept. 22.

Featuring notes of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, pumpkin spice is no longer limited to lattes. Now, you can crack open a pumpkin spice beer, spread pumpkin spice butter on toast or leave the house smelling like the fall scent.

For those who enjoy the "traditional" PSL (pumpkin spice latte, obviously), Starbucks and Dunkin' released their fall menus in August. Starbucks' menu includes a PSL, pumpkin cream cold brew, a pumpkin cream cheese muffin and pumpkin scone.

Dunkin's fall menu also includes a PSL and pumpkin cream cold brew, along with a nutty pumpkin coffee, glazed pumpkin cake donut, pumpkin MUNCHKINS donut holes and pumpkin muffin. Dunkin' Pumpkin K-Cup Pods are also back and available at participating Dunkin' locations.

New this year, Dunkin' is collaborating with Goldfish on Pumpkin Spice Grahams. The grahams are available at stores wherever Goldfish are sold.

Several other brands released pumpkin products, like Oreo's Pumpkin Spice Sandwich Cookies, Thomas' pumpkin spice English muffins, bagels and bread, Chobani's pumpkin spice Greek yogurt, Land O Lakes' Pumpkin Spice Butter Spread and more. These products are typically sold at traditional grocery stores.

For local pumpkin spice treats, here are a few Springfield businesses that have you covered:
