Bizzy Bone, born September 12, 1976, is a successful solo rapper and group artist who has won against all the odds. After surviving an immensely difficult childhood, the artist found his passion for rap and was a founding member of the rap group that would come to be known as Bone-Thugs-n-Harmony. Not content with gaining success as just part of a group, the rapper also launched a tremendously successful solo career. He has been keen on diversifying his sound and has been celebrated and praised for collaborating with artists from widely different genres. Bizzy Bone is a renowned American rapper and singer. Bone, whose real name is Bryon Anthony McCane II, was born in Columbus, Ohio. Bone was four years old when he and his two siblings were kidnapped by his mother’s boyfriend at the time. They were held captive together for two years and during that period the siblings lived in houses, cars, apartments, and motels across Oklahoma. The police were eventually alerted and the siblings were returned to their mother. Bone met the future members of the rap group Bone-Thugs-n-Harmony during his early teens.

In 1992, Bone helped co-found hip-hop group Bone Enterpri$e which was renamed to Bone-Thugs-n-Harmony by rapper Eazy-E of the famous American hip-hop group N.W.A. The group released their first album, “Faces of Death”, in 1993. Bone started his solo career six years later with the release of his first solo album, “Heaven’z Movie”, in 1998. The album was awarded gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America. In 2005, Bone and fellow Bone-Thugs-n-Harmony member Layzie Bone formed a duo called ‘Bone Brothers’ and they released an album under this new group.

The duo reunited in 2008 to release two more albums. Bone’s solo album was released that same year. “A Song For You” featured a host of talented artists from different musical genres including acclaimed rapper DMX and rockstar Joel Madden. Bone released several albums during the late 2010s and early 2020s including “Carbon Monoxide” which debuted at the third-most top spot on the iTunes album chart.

McCane grew up in impoverished circumstances and is dedicated to helping people facing different kinds of adversity. McCane partnered with a plethora of other artists to re-record the single “We Are the World 25 for Haiti” to raise funds for victims of the country’s earthquake.

McCane married the woman of his dreams, singer JCass, in 2020 and the couple has a son together. McCane is a doting husband and father and the little family even vlogs about family life on their YouTube channel JAM tv.

Many celebrities don’t talk openly about their struggles but McCane wants to change that. During the two years, he was kept captive, he suffered much physical, mental, and sexual abuse. He appeared on the Fox show “America’s Most Wanted” to talk about his abusive childhood and to encourage abused children to come forward.

One of Bone’s temporary caregivers saw his missing persons' notice and reported their captor to the authorities.

Bone’s album “Speaking In Tongues” received its name based on a radio interview he conducted in which he spoke in tongues.

The rapper exchanged a series of diss tracks with popular American rap group Migos.

Police visited Bone’s home after he posted an Instagram live story in which he threatened to harm fellow rapper 21 Savage.

“Carbon Monoxide” (2019), “The Mantra” (2020), and “War of Roses” (2021) were all released on his birthday.

The rapper has children with four women.
